The Basics

How It Works

    Choose your chain.Browse our collection of beautiful chain styles in 14k gold-filled and sterling silver. Looking for solid 14k gold? We can special order it just for you.

    We size it to you.We wrap the chain around your wrist, ankle, or neck and find the perfect fit, no clasp needed.

    We weld it closed.Once you're happy with the fit, we use a small precision welder to create a seamless connection.

  • 4

    Wear it. Live in it.Shower, sleep, swim, and go about your day. Your jewelry is made to be lived in. When you're ready to remove it, simply snip the chain at the welded connection.

Who We Are

Meet Amanda & Julie

We're Amanda and Julie, childhood best friends who grew up just down the street from each other. After 30 years of friendship and many life changes, we eventually dreamed up Good Things Last.

We're both creative, sentimental people who love the little things that make life special, good friends, beautiful spaces, and making memories.

Julie loves to do line-and-wash art, spends most of her time with her parents playing euchre or cribbage, and is constantly finding little DIY ways to improve her home.

Amanda lives outside Kitchener-Waterloo and loves all things home and interior design. She's a twin, a proud pig & dog owner, and can usually find a reason to make something prettier.

We may live in different cities now, but years of friendship, shared interests, and now a business of our own have kept us connected, proof that some good things really do last.

Good Things Don't Last?

We don't believe that.

Good Things Last is about the moments in life worth holding onto, the friendships that make us laugh, the memories we wish we could bottle up, the milestones we celebrate, and the little moments that simply make us feel good. We wanted to build something that brought more of that into everyday life. Permanent jewelry is where we're starting, but it's only the beginning.

There's something special about creating an experience around a piece of jewelry, choosing something that feels like you, sharing the moment with someone you love, and leaving with a reminder of a time in your life you'll want to remember. Whether you're celebrating a friendship, a milestone, a new chapter, your independence, or just treating yourself, we're here to make the moment feel special.

Because sometimes it's not really about the jewelry. It's about the memory attached to it.
Good friendships last. Good memories last. Good things last.

FAQ

Does it hurt?
Not at all! The spark only connects the jump ring and never touches your skin.
How does it work?
Pick a chain, we fit it to your size, and we secure it with a quick, safe zap.
What if I need to remove it (or need an MRI)?
Cut the small jump ring with scissors or nail clippers. Save the chain and we can re-weld it for you later!
What materials do you use?
We mainly work with high-quality Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver chains built for long-term daily wear. Solid 14k Gold is also available upon request.
What if it breaks?
Keep the chain! We offer free re-welds within 14 days and charge a small fee after that.
Do I need an appointment?
Nope! Just find us at one of our markets, walk up, and pick your chain. No booking required.
Do you still do private parties or in-home appointments?
